An Innovative Training Program to Cultivate a More Modern Government
This effort came together thanks to a unique partnership between the Partnership for Public Service, the American Institute for Research, and the Policy Design Lab with funding from the Schmidt Family Foundation. We were a small team that worked collaboratively and quickly.
My engagement on this project was at the front-end to help shape the program's...
- Philosophy (balancing experiential vs classroom learning)
- Structure (number of weeks and how many people),
- Strategy (how this fits into other gov't programs and who to target)
- Training content (which topics to focus on)
- messaging (the words that work)
I also handled the web build as well as the creation of the other tech-based applications to bring the conversations to a concrete deliverable:
- Website (SquareSpace)
- Newsletter Management (MailChimp)
- Email (G Suite)
- Application Management (Screendoor.io)
Consulting Details:
- Time Frame: 6 weeks
- Tags: Program Development, Innovation Management, Government, Workforce Training
- Contributions: Multiple hats
